Who We Are
The Frederick Area Bridal Network (FABNET), located in Frederick, MD, was created in 2003 with the purpose of providing a complete information/shopping resource for engaged couples. In turn, FABNET provides local wedding professionals powerful means by which they may offer their services to engaged couples in a continued effort to grow their businesses.
Services provided by FABNET members are not limited to weddings. Most FABNET members offer services for any event – birthdays, graduations showers, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, corporate events, Mitzvahs, funerals.
Benefits to Couples
This website, www.FABnet.info, offers a complete listing of member wedding professionals listed by service category. Click on any member and be linked to their business page on the FABNET site. This link provides the information a couple will need to get started planning their wedding. Many member’s business pages provide a link directly to the member’s professional website for more detailed information on the services offered.

Benefits to Members
Members enjoy the benefits of a category listing and webpage on the FABNET website that may link customers directly to a business’ professional website.
Members are periodically extended offers to participate in group advertising, often at a significant discount. FABNET, as an organization, places advertising in wedding resources and represents the membership through the year at regional wedding shows.
Since 2007, FABNET has produced an annual Fall Wedding Showcase. Participating members are extended discounted booth fees.
General membership meetings are held on the on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Monthly meetings include networking time followed by a business meeting. Meetings may include an educational presentation or a round table discussion on a variety of wedding/business-related topics or may feature one or more Member’s Spotlights that allow individual member businesses to present their business and services to members in attendance.
Members are required to attend at least four meetings annually to be considered a member in good standing.
The Frederick Area Bridal Network strives to provide for our couples with high quality information and be a shopping resource so they may effortlessly research and choose their wedding professionals. The Network also strives to aid its members in developing their businesses with an emphasis on professional ethics, continuing education and advertising opportunities.

- Observe all laws and obtain and maintain any license(s) required by law to properly conduct business
