Bridal Showcase 2010 $1,000 Grand Prize Winner

Last year's Bridal Showcase 2010 winner of the $1,000 Cash was Lauren Garcia of Mt. Airy in the photo with her fiancee Mitch Stanley. The two were married this past July 3rd at Hollow Creek Golf Club and they took advantaged of the FABNet Discount. Also in the photo is Mr. & Mrs. Ron Cramer from Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County who was our charitable organization, which helped us at the Showcase as well as received a donation. Then far left, Lane Fields, Assistant Advertising Manager of FNP and Wendy Farenwald, owner of Balloon Affairs of Frederick LLC, of the Showcase Committee.
FABNet Bridal Showcase 2009 $1,000 Grand Prize Winner

The 3rd Annual Bridal Showcase sponsored by the Frederick Area Bridal Network recently was held at the Holiday Inn & Conference Center . The Grand Prize was $1,000 Cash drawn from amongst 140 brides. The Showcase was a huge success and plans for next year’s show are already underway. Part of the Network’s mission is to educate the public on the wedding industry which was achieved by holding this showcase. Bridal Showcase

The second annual Fall Bridal Showcase, sponsored by the Frederick Area Bridal Network, was held Oct 26 at Holly Hills Country Club. All vendors participating were members of the network. The grand prize for the show was $2,000 towards a honeymoon of the winner's choice, donated by Travel by C and the Frederick Area Bridal Network. Proceeds from the entry fee were donated to the Bruce Jones Memorial Fund administered by All Saints Episcopal Church. Jones was a founding member of FABNet who died earlier this year. The Frederick Area Bridal Network strives to unite wedding professionals to meet, learn and work with the issues of mutual importance to the industry. Their mission is to educate the public on the wedding industry and to provide forums such as their showcase to inform the public about the industry and become better consumers. The Frederick Area Bridal Network recently made a contribution to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Maryland Chapter.
