The Frederick Area Bridal Network (FABNet), located in Frederick, Maryland, was founded in 2003 to educate brides, grooms, and professionals about the wedding industry. Today this non-profit organization is growing rapidly, adding new vendors every month who meet a specific code of ethics we have established.

The Frederick Area Bridal Network and the Frederick News Post held their Bridal Showcase 2011 on November 6th at the e-ventplex at the Frederick Fairgrounds. The winning bride of the $1,000 drawing was Christina Barbetta of Hagerstown. Pictured from left are, Wendy Farenwald of Balloon Affairs of Frederick and Lane Fields, Assistant Advertising Manager of FNP, both on the Showcase Committee, Winner Christina Barbetta and her Matron of Honor Lynley Pfistner, and Nicole Shew of Shewsical Entertainment. The Showcase was a success with over 200 brides in attendance and over 50 local vendors participating. This was the fifth year for the Showcase. As part of the Network's mission to educate the public on the wedding industry, it certainly was achieved by hosting this great event!
